Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia Plumberpete. There is a serious issue that must be resolved concerning the new section to the article Spite (punk band) Which you originally titled "The Punk Rock band called Spite." The policy of Wikipedia is to only publish sourced content. This entire section is unsourced so it’s removal is appropriate. I have, however, left it for now to give you a reasonable opportunity to include citations.

Other less severe issues caused me to make a couple other edits. Use of the word “The” in the title only served to imply that the British band was unique in having that name; an assertion that sourced material in other sections shows to be incorrect. The word use could also be regarded as being promotional which is inconsistent with NPOV. The assertion that the British band was not aware of the Kalamazoo, Michigan band is not really supportable. If appropriate sources exist, it would be appropriate to say, “members of this band say they did not know about the Kalamazoo band.”

One last note. You should consider avoiding colloquialisms like “call it a day” unless you are quoting someone's such as a member of the band.

Again. Citations are not optional and the section will only remain if citations are referenced.

It has been over a month since Libertyguy posted the above comment. I see that this problem has not be fixed. Unsourced content must be removed. Do so or this section will be removed.--Kzooman (talk) 20:26, 11 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
