My homework edit

I wrote a short sample about boxers, as you already know. However, I have 2 questions. What is the difference between a citation and a reference? Do they both refer to the source? Also, I can't seem to upload or download a picture even though I followed the directions.

One more thing--I am working on a submission for a company. Can you review it in my sandbox before I submit it? Thanks. Geis0099 (talk) 15:58, 25 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Citations and references are pretty much the same thing. Citations are the source of your information, while references are where you give reference to your citations. I'm guessing that it wouldn't let you upload the picture because you said it was someone else's work. Picture's have to be either low resolution reproductions of someone else's work, royalty-free pictures, pictures you made, or picture's you have the author's written permission to use. I will review your submission right now, and give you your next assignment. The next assignment is on how to undo edits done by real, live vandals and on how to identify what is and is not vandalism. pluma Ø 02:01, 27 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
