Personally I thought my addition to the panorama page was fine. I did not think it was advertising. There are at least 5 different panorama apps in the same category. However, it is possible that this would be better suited under a wikihow page.
I originally made my account to contribute a cockpit picture of a Cessna Citation CJ1.
