License tagging for Image:3x22 jack hospital hamill.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:3x22 jack hospital hamill.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Please note that "citation needed" tags are not intended for the original contributor of an uncited statement to use. If you add a statement to an article, it is your respnsibility to include a citation. It is not appropriate to add the "citation needed" tag and expect others to find the citation and insert it. Adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with Wikipedia's policy of verifiability. If you don't have a citation, don't add the uncited statement. "Citation needed" tags are only for an editor to insert after an uncited statement that is already in an article. Fair use rationale for Image:Greater Manchester County Council Arms.png

edit

Image:Greater Manchester County Council Arms.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
