Ellen G. White discussion

edit

Hi, I am one of the people in the Seventh-day Adventist project who is generally watching the article. None of the participants to the project are fulltime editors here and hence we lack the resources to contact people to get verification of things. The main resources we have are textbooks and the internet. The slant that you see happening is likely because the internet allows so much more access to opinions compared to the traditional print media. However, Wikipedia aims to provide neutral point of view articles which do not favour specific viewpoints, so if there is a negative slant to the article it should not be that way. This is not to say that people should not add criticisms and rebuttals, just that they should be balanced. Anyways, I hope that provides a bit of an introduction to the way things kind of work around here. Feel free to join the SDA project and provide suggestions and edits for things when you see them happening. Cheers, Ansell 12:24, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
