Thanks Phoblacht edit

Thanks Phoblacht, I have had a look at the articles and the amount of misconception, and lack of factual information is astonishing. It is more than one editor could possibly manage. I am working on the Young Ireland Article, and hope to put the information in the article soon. The peace meal approach I was using with my edits lacked context, with this new approach I hope to overcome this. I do not feel comfortable editing other editor’s work, and would much rather apply a citation needed tag, than cut the piece out. This allows the editor the opportunity reference the edit. I will watch some other editors for awhile until I get the hang of it. Thanks again for the support, Regards --Domer48 19:27, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Michael Dickson edit

Phoblacht, I wrote the above article and inserted the section about his detention in Prague. I know there are a few conflicting reports about how he was detained. Contact me via my email on my user page. --Vintagekits 10:35, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

The most important thing is that the key is verifiability not truth, that's a fundamental principle on Wiki. Although Dixi might have said something different to you, I'm assuming it was a private conversation therefore there's no way anyone else can verify what he said. If for example he made a statement in a published interview saying the same, we could use it as a source. One Night In Hackney303 11:56, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
