Neutral point of view

In your edits, please strive for a neutral point of view. If there are areas where there is legitimate dispute, for example, translating Isaiah's prophecy as "virgin" or "young woman", then the article should not take a position one way or the other, but instead should explain both alternatives. Another important thing to note is that Wikipedia is not censored. I understand and respect the view that many persons of faith have that G-d should be written with a hyphen in it instead of spelled out, however, unless it is an exact quotation, that's not how things are written on Wikipedia. Also, it is important that assertions on Wikipedia be properly attributed to reliable sources. (I recognize that the Bible prophecy article is somewhat of a cesspool already in this regard.) For example, it is important to avoid inserting new text directly in front of a <ref> tag, incorrectly giving the impression that the reference in question supports the claim. --B (talk) 23:54, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

Ten Commandments

I removed your addition because someone was doing to take it down anyway, come what may. As you can see on Talk:Ten Commandments, we have a small number of vocal editors with an atheist POV/agenda who seem uninterested in the traditional perspective.

Adding reliable sources is always a good start. I have provided a number of useful ones in the discussion. A very helpful kind of source would be a source outside Orthodox Judaism discussing this approach to the historicity of maamad Har Sinai. One should definitely avoid using non-standard spellings or terminology (e.g. "G-d") on Wikipedia. THe vast majority of readers will have no idea what you are trying to achieve by using those terms.
