Image copyright problem with Image:Pete&cam.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Pete&cam.JPG. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 01:56, 27 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Bad2.gif edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Bad2.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:05, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

pete&camel edit

      • Petetyj Is the person sitting on the beast , he is the owner of the camera the film and the negative. A buddy has a print, perhaps the buddy who took the pic there are several prints. This is is the best pose. the camel likes to put his head in the air and yodel.

the beast( the one on the bottom) is owned by an entraprenure in china who charged for me to sit on him and take the picture...and refused to stand in the picture... the cahrge is actually for a ride i didnt ride as far as most of the locals (mostly kids) its possible this is a license. I wasnt the only one paying this guy...

the picture was taken at the dragons head (head of the dragon guarding the country in the center of the world) north of QinHuangDao.

the joyous eating place for all people inthe background may be happy to see a pic in this wondorus wicki, that may make pictured bastion of culinary delights world famous... but they were closed that day and i didnt think to ask.

Ive havent yet seen a picture of a camel with a winter coat.

when i saw the camel i never knew they had winter coats... thought maybe this was a artic camel... maybe they dont grow long hair in egypt maybe dromadarys dont grow as long.

I you think the pic has value perhaps i can scan it a bit better.

Reversi edit

Hello. I received a wikimail purporting to be from you asking why I had removed your contribution to Reversi as vandalism. Unless you are also IP User 209.169.65.128, I believe you may be mistaken about my involvement. My reversion (see the difference here) was to restore the deleted sections of text that had been replaced by the words "POO POOOOOOOOO." I see your edit further up the edit history, and it seems it was changed by IP User 193.75.49.7. You can see the difference here. If you wish to contact that editor about his or her changes, you can reach him or her here. In case you've never left a message, be sure to sign your note with ~~~~ so that the user can easily respond. Good luck finding resolution. :) --Moonriddengirl 21:23, 5 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
