Hello, Petethetke, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed the article you created on Davidson High School (Mobile, Alabama), and wanted to tell you that it's a great start to your editing career on Wikipedia! I took a moment to clean it up a bit, and I hope you like it. Please feel free to contact me on my talk page, whenever regarding this article, as I an a "newbie", too. I joined wikipedia about a month ago, and created my first article on East Grand Rapids High School. Check that out for some ideas on how to expand your article. You may want to also look into adding the "Infobox Secondary School" box to your article. Good luck! Curran (talk) 18:17, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I went ahead and added it to the article-- please add all applicable information. Curran (talk) 18:17, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes, you're right, I mis-linked that :-) Sorry about that, but I just copied and pasted, and obviously didn't delete that...

To make a link to another article within Wikipedia, type the following:

[[Name of article]]

However, to make an external link to another website, type the following:

But, there's more! For the first one (the internal link), to title it a different name, use the | sign to add text. For example, if I wanted to create a link to the article 'Chevrolet', and have it show up as "Chevy", I would type the following...

 [[Chevrolet|Chevy]]

...which would produce Chevy. For a title to an external link, say I wanted for it say "Curran Rules!" I would type the following...

[http://www.example.org Curran Rules!]

...which would produce Curran Rules!, the external link to "example.org".

I hope this helps! Curran (talk) 19:23, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
