Disambiguation page for Herbert Greene

edit

hello Peter - i have added an article on Herbert Greene, who was a well-known conductor, producer, vocal arranger and director on Broadway in the 40's, 50's & 60's. at present, a search on the name Herbert Greene returns your Herbert Jabez Greene article. since there are several articles about persons with that name, i think a better result will be to have the search return the disambiguation page. what would you say to calling the disambiguation page Herbert Greene?Adambrower (talk) 22:01, 27 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Adam, Sounds like the best solution! Peter — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.225.241.32 (talk) 03:13, 28 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Kate-Carney-1.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Kate-Carney-1.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 10:50, 30 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
