Hello, I'm ThaddeusSholto. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Grey-capped greenfinch have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. ThaddeusSholto (talk) 15:22, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to European goldfinch. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.   You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising, as you did at Yellow canary. ThaddeusSholto (talk) 15:36, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

This is not a spam account, I'm just adding some references from an original text that hadn't been mentioned before where you can find a lot of information from birds

Decline reason:

You slapped the exact same reference on several articles without adding any information to the articles. It is difficult to see this as anything other than spam. 331dot (talk) 16:28, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
