'Client' edit

Some folks don't like the lawyerly connotation that the use of the word client gives... some like 'ward' or 'charge'. It doesn't matter what you call it, use the word 'advokee' if you like. The question might be put as: What does the AMA prefer as the appropriate term to describe those for whom the advocate advocates? I'd appreciate comments on this. Niceties - examples for when you find it hard to generate edit

There are times when, my feelings are strong, and it is difficult to come up with a nicety on my own, so I propose a list of ones found useful by experienced advocates. My contributions:
