Request reason:

I am not a sockpuppet. It looks like Irishguy is edit warring and refusing to come to the talk page of a page despite being directly asked to, he blocked me for asking him not to edit war.

Decline reason:

Clear sockpuppet or meatpuppet, see WP:SOCK. — Yamla (talk) 20:42, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

No, a brand new user makes a first edit which is to revert back to a version created by a user that has been blocked numerous times. That is the action of a sock/meat puppet. IrishGuy talk 20:30, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

No, I am not, and I would appreciate it if you would stop this. I can see the history of both the article and talk and you obviously are trying to push one side but you are not bringing your concerns to the talk page. There is a very good analysis of relevance on that page and you are ignoring it.

I request anyone coming here see this: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Irishguy&diff=prev&oldid=174663475

I asked him to come and discuss his issues on the page but instead he reverted and blocked me for daring to question him.

Of course anyone can see the history of the article and the talk page...the point is that a brand new user would have no valid reason to look into the history unless he/she knew there was something to be found there. Like that version you continue reverting to with various usernames. IrishGuy talk 20:45, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
You're first edit from this account was one that would be reminiscent of User:FixtheBorder, after inspection of your contributions. Your first contribution and the only one you made to the mainspaice is very similar to Special:Contributions/Fixtheborder's contributions, and the edit summary [1] represented here implies frustration with an edit that Irishguy made, which is an edit that Fixtheborder kept readding. Looking at the rationale for the edit in which you reverted[2], as well as a similar username to the likely master account and also User:FriendofBorderPatrol, it is very likely you are a reincarnation of Fixtheborder. Simple Question

edit

Why didn't you go to the talk page and discuss it rather than just putting the info back into the article? Jons63 (talk) 20:42, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I can easily ask him but I thought I would ask him directly, since there is a long discussion on the talk page and he refuses to take part. I would rather know what his objections are, then perhaps someone can actually answer them, but if all he does is revert and block people without ever saying what he sees wrong with the edit then that is abuse, no?

All you did was revert to an earlier version without discussing. I will give you some of my problems to the parts you inserted. Jons63 (talk) 20:53, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

It has been discussed. See here. IrishGuy talk 21:03, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I added some of my specific concerns to the talk page. Jons63 (talk) 21:23, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

You never did answer the simple question I asked, why didn't you take it to the talk page and discuss the issues rather than just putting the data back in? Jons63 (talk) 21:26, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

You have recently made reversions to this page, but have not placed any note on the talk page informing others as to what you are objecting. I am asking you to do so as per my discussion with Mr Black Kite, so that the article can be improved. Please respond on the talk page. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fixthepedia (talkcontribs) 21:38, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
