I've deleted the article on John Paul II Media Institute, twice. Please do not recreate it; we have a policy against this. If you'd like to contest the deletion, you may list it at deletion review. Thank you. Chick Bowen 03:48, 3 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your e-mail. You ask how you might write the article so that it won't be deleted. To be frank, if the deletion review upholds the deletion, that may be tough. But basically, it's going to need to rely on external sources--that is, not the school's website (though that should be linked to). In other words, discussions of the Institute in major media, or others of the kinds of sources outlined in Wikipedia:Reliable sources. This is why I said that the Institute's newness is a problem; it needs to acquire a reputation in the larger world first, and then Wikipedia will report on it. But Wikipedia is absolutely never the way for an organization to acquire a reputation in the first place. I would strongly urge that you wait quite a bit, and work on general PR and getting cited in the media, before trying to write another article again. Otherwise it will be deleted under our rule against reposting of deleted material (WP:CSD G4). In the meantime, why don't you look around the encyclopedia a bit, find out what we're all about, and see how you might contribute. Thanks, and good luck. Chick Bowen 03:57, 6 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
