editHello, Paul at ourprice. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. The material you posted into the article Our Price was unambiguously promotional in character. JBW (talk) 15:19, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Fanfanboy. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Our Price have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Fanfanboy (talk) 15:26, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- HI there Fanfanboy, pleased to meet you. Could you please assist me in making these edits to the Our Price page. I realise I have contravened some contributor parameters but I am not au fait with Wikipedia rules, I just contribute, support and want to update the Our Price page with the news that the company is relaunching on 30th April as a record, music equipment and music store.
- I would be happy to send you the press release if you could assist.
- I am not a big corporate, I am a musician and creator reviving and putting his heart and soul into bringing back a much loved brand.
- My email is paul@Ourprice.com
- Thank you Paul at ourprice (talk) 16:50, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Our Price. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Lynch44 (talk) 15:27, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Our Price, you may be blocked from editing. Fanfanboy (talk) 15:31, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

. Paul at ourprice (talk) 16:52, 10 April 2024 (UTC)- We are not interested in press releases. " All content must be cited from reliable, independent sources with a reputation for fact checking." Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not for "updates." Those should go on the company website. Thanks, -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:15, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- And we definitely don't want to email you. Any discussion should occur here, on Wikipedia, in full view of the community. Thanks -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:16, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
