IMPAC Medical Systems

edit

The article IMPAC Medical Systems has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Merope 21:45, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:CrazyChick.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:CrazyChick.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:08, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Star of idaho

edit

I have nominated Star of idaho, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Star of idaho. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. nneonneo talk 04:46, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please read the comments on the AfD discussion for why it's not appropriate. It basically boils down to having exactly zero sources, which makes it either a) a hoax, or b) non-notable by definition. nneonneo talk 16:53, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
