editHi Papajdo. Here is an explanation of the tags on the articles:
- Refimprove. I will remove this. In retrospect it seems inapplicable.
- Like resume. What can I say? It looks like a resume.
- Notability. The subject seems like an active and productive software architect who has shown significant technical leadership and the ability to work well with others. If I were this person's manager, I would give him a great review and make sure he was given the money and support so that he didn't go to a competitor. That alone doesn't make him notable in the sense of deserving an encyclopedia entry. None of the work cited leaps off the page as generally notable--no claim is made of any paradigm-busting conceptual breakthroughs, just a series valuable contributions to an existing and evolving art. If the subject had invented a technique that is notable in and of itself, I would see it differently (and if you've been modest in your claims, then I might feel different about an updated article).
- COI. The COI doesn't necessarily mean you have taken an non-neutral POV in the text, but suggests that your choice to write an article at all may be the by-product of bias. Let me give you an example: my dad has written a number of books and countless article, many of them (documentedly) extremely well cited. He has held positions of accountability, where other holders of such positions have been given entries predominantly because of their holding such a position. In short, he seems like a heckofa guy, and someone who is notable. If someone writes an article about him, I will probably check it regularly for inaccuracies and even add a notable tidbit if one is left out. But I am not going to start a Wikipedia article on him, nor request that anyone else do so.

editThanks for the feedback. I've updated the entry to focus on the notability of the contributions to object-relational mapping technology.
I agree that the article might be considered COI but the rationale for the article is that the JDO technology is well-known and so is the subject of the article in this context.
