Juan Aurich

Hi Pankré,

I deleted the Conmebol performance section because most featured articles do not have such sections documenting performances in international competitions and also because of the Manual of Style for football clubs. However, a while ago I saw articles like this: Malmö FF in European football, FC Barcelona in European football. I subsequently created Club Universitario de Deportes in South American football. So I'd recommend doing something like Juan Aurich in South American football which documents everything instead of having that small section on the club article.

I do have to point out though, the page Juan Aurich refers to Juan Aurich de La Victoria which has only been in existence since 2005. It has been documented that there are/were several clubs that carried the name Juan Aurich. The first Juan Aurich no longer exists and was a different club (i.e. Deportivo Juan Aurich and Deportivo Juan Aurich in South American football). The records of the first Juan Aurich, Aurich-Cañaña, the Juan Aurich that played in the first division between 1998 and 2002, and the modern Juan Aurich are not to be aggregated as they are different clubs.

In short, the most notable Juan Aurich clubs that satisfy WP:GNG and merit an article page are the following:

• Deportivo Juan Aurich, the first Juan Aurich founded in 1922 which no longer exists and played in the early Descentralizados.
• Aurich-Cañaña, a merge between the previous Juan Aurich and Deportivo Cañaña and also no longer exists.
• Juan Aurich de Chiclayo, the second Juan Aurich. They won the 1997 Copa Perú and played in the first division from 1998 to 2002. After relegation they dissolved.
• Juan Aurich de La Victoria, the current Juan Aurich founded in 2005 and whose ownership lies with Edwin Oviedo.
