Hello Milaina,

I think the article about smoking cessation is a great article to peer review. This is such an important topic and requires a lot of knowledge and considerations. I was looking through the article and have a few ideas that you could possibly edit. First, the article mentions the use of the drug Varencline, you could potentially add to that and some side effects. Also, you could potentially add to how to quit. For example, the use of replacement drugs such as Varencline or Nicotine replacement theories with the addition of consulting may help cessation when in combination. I think this is a great article to edit and am excited to see your addition.

Hello Mandy, Thank you for your feedback I appreciate it. I didn't think of mentioning the side effects of the drug Varencline. Also your comment about adding how to quit is a great topic to mention! Most people who want to quit smoking have issues with being compliant with stopping. Therefore, this topic is highly important to bring light to. -Milaina Palazzolo

Hello Milaina,

I just reviewed your article about smoking cessation. I enjoyed your facts about passive smoking and its effects on children. It's devastating that so many children are forced into second hand smoking without having a choice, so I am so glad you mentioned it. I agree with Amanda about adding in options for quitting smoking, including pharmaceutical ways as well as non pharmaceutical ways. Smoking is such a problem in America and if everyone knew all of the options for quitting, we can get rid of smoking for good. Overall, your article was well thought out and I believe with some more information, this will be a stellar article! Keep up the good work!

Hi Milaina! I enjoyed reading your article on the effects of passive smoking on individuals. Secondhand smoke definitely has the ability to impact others besides just the smoker. I liked the information you included about the risk factor of secondhand smoke on effecting young adult's to begin smoking. It was also valuable to the reader to understand the health consequences to secondhand smoke, and the education needed to affect change. Overall, I think you wrote a strong article and it is a valuable addition to the smoking cessation article!
