Directions in architecture edit

Re this: You were right to correct it on the basics, since I had gotten a little confused writing the article and should have said "west". In architecture, only the four cardinal directions are used to describe the facades of a building (at least in my experience), so "northwest" was more detail than needed. No problem. I will keep that in mind for the future. My edit summary was also not meant to sound like a sarcastic insult of one's intelligence, but basically was in lieu of a citation. P924 CarreraGTS (talk) 16:04, 13 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Like a Boss Edit Conflict edit

If you are removing our "like a boss" site then remove the one in the references list, to knowyourmeme. How is that fair that they are cited and we are not? — Preceding unsigned comment added by LikeABosscom (talkcontribs) 18:08, 20 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Why can't the website Like A Boss be on the citations in the reference list then if knowyourmem is there? Knowyourmeme website has nothing to do with "like a boss" except for that one page. Our website is 100% like a boss material. I believe and feel strongly that our webpage is a better fit, don't you agree? — Preceding unsigned comment added by LikeABosscom (talkcontribs) 18:16, 20 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

How is knowyourmeme proof? Why is that link even needed in the references list? What is it "proving" or "backing up". It's just a webpage with a couple of memes. Are they paying Wikipedia to be here? Also, what is your role on Wikipedia, are you an actual employee or are you doing this as volunteer work? — Preceding unsigned comment added by LikeABosscom (talkcontribs) 18:25, 20 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

You are correct, I have never really used wikipedia other than reading various articles. I think I know how to replace knowyourmeme in the reference list. I will make a page on our site that has more sources, more examples and goes in depth further. Hopefully this will be enough to replace them with. Sorry if I sounded rude, I did not mean to come across that way. --LikeABosscom (talk) 18:40, 20 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Alright, thanks for the tips. I am having a hard time figuring out how to add our website as a citation next to knowyourmeme one...Can you please help me? I've read over the link you have sent me but I cannot seem to find it. The only thing I see in the edit screen is "Reflist".--LikeABosscom (talk) 18:54, 20 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
