Hello, Ozeye. I was pleasantly surprised to see this picture of the Cloisters Court... I wonder how you got access, and whether there is any other interesting material you'd like to share. There aren't many pictures of the courtyards around—with the exception of the Royal Court—so I am very interested in whatever you or anyone else can procure. Image galleries

You have repeatedly added an image gallery to the article Sheldonian Theatre. Wikipedia's image use policy explicitly advises against doing so, so please do not add the gallery again. --Stemonitis (talk) 21:35, 8 December 2011 (UTC).

Sorry Stemonitis, but I don't share your interpretation of the meaning of the image use oplicy. I would contend that the images in the Gallery section for the Sheldonian Theatre article do "...add to the reader's understanding of the subject..." as per said Image Use Policy by showing the Theatre from different perspectives, its interior and a view from within the Theatre's Cupola. If you have objections to the quailty of the photography, or of some other nature please put them on the official record, but I cannot see that the final set of (I believe four) images that comprised the gallery did violate the Image Use Policy.--Ozeye

The appropriate thing to do is to link to Wikimedia Commons, where the reader can see many more pictures. There is no need for a gallery. Images should be placed inline, except in very rare circumstances. I would say there may be room in the current text for one or two pictures, to illustrate parts of the text (one interior shot, perhaps one of the ceiling, which is discussed in the text), but no more than that. updating HDI

When you update some information, you need to create a completely new citation for it, not just tweak bits of the existing citation, as often tweaking doesn't result in a valid citation. In the case of Queensland, there was an archive-url present which referred to an earlier set of data. I think I have now fixed this problem in Queensland, but please create new citations rather than tweak them. Kerry (talk) 22:17, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
