Hello, Otvm, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Gender dysphoria in children does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. I am sorry for my edits, and I will avoid making biased edits in the future. One thing which bothers me slightly is that the article uses offensive and confusing language; in some controversial topics, such as transgender people and who they are, something which means one thing to one person could easily mean something quite different to another person. In this case, would it be better to use politically correct language, or should one use the more traditional language? Otvm (talk) 21:52, 10 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hi, Otvm. "Gender dysphoria" and "gender identity disorder" are pretty much synonyms with slightly different criteria. Because older sources in the article use the term "gender identity disorder," it's used for those parts in the article. Similar can be seen at the Gender dysphoria article. As for sources stating "boys with gender dysphoria," I'm sure that the sources mean those assigned male at birth. We should follow what the sources state in this case, especially since the vast majority of children with gender dysphoria do cease to have it by puberty/adolescence. The vast majority don't grow up transgender. Also see childhood gender nonconformity. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 16:38, 11 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
