Maze of Thought edit

Maze of Thought has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this film might not be notable enough for an article. Please review WP:NOT and WP:N for general concerns and improve the article if possible. If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the prod notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. NickelShoe (Talk) 00:01, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

The concern is that this isn't the kind of information people would look for in an encyclopedia. You might review WP:VAIN, for instance, which explains why it's generally not a good idea to write about your own life, movies, etc. WP:AUTO is somewhat redundant with that page. Wikipedia should have information about things that are already well-known. If this movie meets those standards, that's great. Make sure the article explains that.
I see that you removed the prod tag. There's nothing wrong with that, but you didn't use an edit summary to explain your reasoning to other editors, so it was quickly moved to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Maze of Thought for discussion. Please go there to explain why you think the article should be kept according to Wikipedia standards and ask any questions about the deletion process. Also make sure to sign your posts with ~~~~, which allows people to know who's talking to them without having to check the page history. Thanks! Let me know if you have any more problems or questions. NickelShoe (Talk) 13:25, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
Also, make sure not to remove the new deletion notice, which is needed to direct people to the ongoing deletion discussion. NickelShoe (Talk) 13:29, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Deletions edit

Please consider whether you meet the Wikipedia notability guidelines before writing about your own projects. It is also very bad form to write articles about yourself. If you continue to do so you will probably find that they get deleted. Maustrauser 11:44, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Several attempts have been made to delete you bio page, I've been trying to restore, but you'll have to watch it so it doesn't get vandalized.

AfD edit

Please don't edit Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Orlando Eastwood; it has been closed, and that page is being kept for historical purposes only. If you really think the article was deleted inappropriately, the correct place to voice your concern is Wikipedia:Deletion review. Melchoir 10:41, 17 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Poloyoe edit

Well, then Poloyoe is really showing an unhealthy interest in you, since all his edits have been in the articles on you, your works or your friends. Elf-friend 11:28, 17 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Christin Slater edit

The misspelling is wrong. It is Christin not Christian Slater. They are not related in any way. Christin is a writer for OMEStudios. Could you change this? OrlandoMurdockEastwood 10:23, 17 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi OrlandoMurdockEastwood. You may want to refer to WP:BIO, which is a set of notability guidelines for Wikipedia; it would appear that the original Christin Slater article was tagged for speedy deletion because it did not meet this criteria. I redirected your page to Christian Slater as a possible misspelling of the the notable actor by that name. If you and User:Poloyoe believe this deletion to be in error and would like to contest this deletion, please leave me a message here and I will restore the article and bring it to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for broader consensus.
