Hi - welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your comments on the intro to Java (island). You are, of course, absolutely right - that was a pretty goofy comment to have in the intro. When you see stuff like that, feel free to edit the page to remove it, put it somewhere less prominent, or whatever. It never hurts to explain what you're doing on the talk page, of course, but go ahead and be bold and make the change. If someone objects strongly, they'll revert your change, and then you can discuss it.
