Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Officialnosmsc", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or have the appearance of shared use. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Mdann52 (talk) 13:52, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Number One Stunnas Motorsport Club

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Number One Stunnas Motorsport Club requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Alexf(talk) 19:54, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you will probably not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Hello OrangeMike and or AlexF

I am writing (I hope correctly?) to ask for help or answers to my page for the #1 Stunnas MSC. I saw that you stated that it was in violation of advertisment policy I believe, I am wholeheartedly do not have intentions of promoting my club only to have information posted for others to know about us and if there is any problems with any verbage I can change but I do see many other Motorcycle Clubs listed on here in Wikipedia which is why I enlisted a professional writer for my listing.

I also had put in to have the name changed from "officialnosmsc" to "Number One Stunnas Motor Sport Club"...if this is not excepted can you please let me know what is or can be around that so I may get the page relisted. Thanks for your help gentlemen

JD

This username is still related to your club. Also, you need to convince us that you will not promote your club on Wikipedia (hint: the text you posted was promotional. Here are a few key questions: You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Max Semenik (talk) 08:18, 25 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello MaxS

I read your response and wanted to repond swiftly and hope you or OrangeMike or AlexF can again reconsider the block of this page.

  • Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory? Yes I do as I have stated before I do not have any business directories listed here for us to promote membership and such.
  • Do you understand conflict of interest? Yes I do and as such ANY brand of item or even association on Wikipedia that advertises there product or item is subject to this conflicyt of interest bu they are still left to have a page so I am again asking as to why my page is different?
  • Do you understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be notable?

This is an excerpt from your guidelines from Notable page..."Reliable" means sources need editorial integrity to allow verifiable evaluation of notability, per the reliable source guideline. Sources may encompass published works in all forms and media, and in any language. Availability of secondary sources covering the subject is a good test for notability.>>>I have submitted published works via magazine articles thay can be verified. Why is this not acceptable?

As for the username of this article I have again submitted for a change to correct this. Now I ask you this question and please be honest and truthfull. I have looked up 2 of some very well known Outlaw Motor Cycle Clubs (I will only list initials H.A. and Mong.) on here and they are listed on here with no issues. They have the same format as mine and same information about there club and I wish to know what is the difference on here from them and myself. Thank you for your time and hope we can come to an undertanding.

You don't seem to be understanding us at all. You write, "ANY brand of item or even association on Wikipedia that advertises there product or item is subject to this conflicyt of interest bu they are still left to have a page so I am again asking as to why my page is different?" NOBODY "advertises there product or item" in Wikipedia. If we find advertisements, we delete them. "They" (whoever "they" may be) are NOT "still left to have a page" here. The articles in Wikipedia are not advertisements, and do not belong to anybody but the Wikimedia Foundation (a non-profit educational organization) itself. The articles about the Hells Angels or anybody else do not belong to those clubs, and should not be edited by those clubs or members thereof, due to the conflict of interest problem; and hiring a mercenary to do your edits for you is not any help, other than the possibility that the spam will be better written. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:59, 26 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ok well you guys seem to have alot of work in front of you as I just pulled another page that strictly advertises there product. You can delete my page then and thank you for your time
