fact tags edit

Hi, I also wanted to note that you added a lot of fact tags to United States public debt and that you can just add the tag, a bot comes by to fix it with the date and that is the preferred method of getting the date in there. Happy editing! 018 (talk) 14:51, 21 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi 018 - Very well, thanks for the tip. Greetings. Occas (talk) 02:32, 22 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Russell Williams (Colonel) edit

So here's what I'm getting at - "model military man" is not an encyclopaedic statement because it's untestable based on the information available. Also, since he seems to have confessed to serial rape and murder, it's difficult to see how this could constitute "model military" behaviour. What can be independently verified (and what is actually stated in the article referenced) is that he was decorated (albeit with fairly routine service awards) and has a long and hitherto successful career.

The description of Trenton as the based that "welcomed home the flag-draped caskets of every soldier killed in Afghanistan" is just purple prose. Factually, Trenton is the airbase that supports overseas military missions, including Afghanistan. As such, it is incidentally the point of arrival for the bodies of dead soldiers. I'm going to try to compromise on this one, but if this gets completely reverted one more time I'm going to have to call in an Admin to arbitrate.

I've posted this on the discussion page for the article if you want to continue it there. Geoff NoNick (talk) 15:27, 12 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Please also review WP:SEEALSO. "Trenton, Ontario" and "Highway or Heroes" are not relevant. They may be linked in prose if there is a reason. –xenotalk 15:52, 12 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
