URL

How come the URL to Autistica's website is autismspeaks.org.uk? Are they related to Autism Speaks? I notice the URL autistica.org.uk also works. —Soap— 23:57, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi Soap, both autistica.org.uk and autismspeaks.org.uk link to the Autistica web site. Autistica broke away from the US Autism Speaks earlier this year over some controversial actions the US branch recently took. Thank you for the feedback, still very much getting the hang of this. I saw your page because I use New Page Patrol and happened to sit down at almost the exact same time that you created the page. But other than that, this site moves pretty slowly sometimes, and it's likely that not many people will find the page soon. You can mention the split from Autism Speaks if you think it would be helpful to readers, but other than that I think the page looks good and you can remove the {{newpage}} template at the top anytime. —Soap— 00:21, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
