I totally stole the html for this frame from Celestianpower. I promise not to use it for evil. I just want to take it apart and see how it ticks.

Greetings & Salutations (redundancy noted) edit

Hello. I was about to give you a welcome message but, having looked at your contributions, I decided against it. However, just leave me a note and it's yours! Sorry for wasting your time! :D --Celestianpower hablamé 20:15, 28 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand. After you viewed my contributions you decided that I was no longer welcome?--OGRastamon 00:54, 29 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
Janke below is right. It was a complement. It would be like giving a picturebook to an artist :D --Celestianpower hablamé 15:08, 29 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks edit

Hi, OGR! Thanks for the disambig on animated cartoon - it still needs a lot of work, that page.

PS: I looked at your response to Cels comment above... did you notice his :D ? What he probably meant was this: The welcome message (containing guidelines for editors) is usually sent to "newbies", and having looked at your contribs, he decided you're not a typical newbie, and you don't need the welcome message! In any case, here it is... ;-) --Janke | Talk 08:18, 29 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

Hello, OGRastamon, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

You Tube edit

As you are probably aware, You Tube has recently come under fire in respect of its use of copyrighted works, because of this a review of You Tube linking from enwiki is under way.

It is noted that you linked to a number of You Tube videos from your user page. Sadly the (C) status for some of those video is doubtful or unclear. In general linking to material whose (C) Status is ambiguous, unclear or unconfirmed is highly discouraged on Wikipedia as reflects badly on both the project and the contributor.

If you are not the copyright owner in respect of the videos linked (including any music, screen-shots or computer generated content), please consider reading both (WP:EL) as well as You Tube's Terms and conditions.

If you don't own the copyright to the footage in entirety you should NOT upload it on You Tube either.

If you are indeed the copyright owner in entirety for the linked videos, please confirm this (via OTRS or appropriate means) for each and every video linked, and mention this in respect of the link(s) concerned. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:25, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hero Happy Hour edit

A tag has been placed on Hero Happy Hour, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
