Counties I can get soonish

Thanks for organizing this project. It is a great idea. :-) With the help of my husband, I've started taking images of Kentucky landmarks/sites including a few courthouses. Over the next few months, I plan to take some more courthouse photos in counties that are fairly close to me. I can get Fleming, Lawrence, and Lincoln easily and will do them soonish. I can go to the other counties in the eastern part of the state but they will take more planning so may take awhile longer. I'll likely be taking other images of local stuff but plan to make the county courthouse a top priority. I'll check here to see which ones are not done yet and plan my trips accordingly. It's good to see more interest in this. I had a lot of fun over the summer taking these pictures... a friend and I made two Sunday roadtrips out of it (Sundays are the best days to take this pictures, by the way, much less likely there will be a lot of parked cars/people/events obstructing a good view). I think after football season I will go do the rest... if no one else gets to them first. There's a big chunk of the far-eastern counties I haven't gotten to yet, mostly ones along the eastern border, plus Lincoln and Menifee which were skipped on accident. --W.marsh 13:59, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes, it is loads of fun. :-) We've been taking our road trips around central Kentucky on Sunday afternoons working around football games we want to see. We drive to the area, take the photos of local sites, and then find a nice place to eat lunch/dinner (and maybe watch a football game in the bar if we're lucky.) Tomorrow my hubby is going to the Bengals game so no time for pictures. Kentucky plays today at 12:30 so I don't think we'll find time to drive. Hopefully on Thursday we can make at least one side trip on the way to Huntington, WV. If you focus on the western counties, I'll try to get the ones in the far east.
