Thanks for your edits to Dune Messiah and other articles, un-capitalizing links to common nouns. I'm not sure if you're using AWB or doing it manually, but you should be changing the link itself ([[hardcover]] & [[paperback]]) rather than piping it ([[Hardcover|hardcover]] & [[Paperback|paperback]]), as this is redundant and a bot or another editor will have to fix it later. Hello and good afternoon (at least it is afternoon where I am). I was looking at the Wikipedian firefighters category and noticed that you are one of the members of the Wikipedia community that lists yourself as being a firefighter. First and foremost let me say thank you for your service. While I myself am not a firefighter, I do work as a photographer with multiple local fire departments. I am honored to have firefighters as some of my closest friends.
I have been taking an active role in the Fire Service WikiProject and am trying to recruit more members to this cause. If this is something you have any interest in, please let me know? Before you go on decapitalizing more dog breeds, please note that there was a discussion on this subject. Could you please discuss this topic at the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Dogs about it. We had an agreement before not to do this, here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Labrador_Retriever/Archive_3#Requested_move. There were many heated discussions on this topic, I think it would be good to have a consensus before we start decapitalizing the dog breeed articles. Cheers. Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks! edit

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. Hi Nyq: According to Wikipedia's manual of style, capitalizing the planet name "Earth" shouldn't be done in the bird migration article. Specifically, it says "The words sun, earth, moon and solar system are capitalized (as proper names) when used to refer to a specific celestial body in an astronomical context (The Sun is the star at the center of the Solar System; the Moon orbits Earth). They are not capitalized when used outside an astronomical context (It was a clear day and the sun felt warm), or when used in a general sense (Io is a moon of Jupiter)."
