Biographies of living persons edit

Please read our biographies of living persons policy before making further edits to Lou Holtz. It is required that all controversial claims, particularly negative ones, be reliable sourced and unsourced or poorly sourced claims must be removed on the spot. The passage you re-added was sourced only by the NCAA findings themselves. For this to be acceptable in a bio of Holtz, you need to use a source that clearly establishes Holtz's involvement. Linking to the NCAA source is likely a good thing, but just that finding, without a definitive statement on Holtz's involvement that doesn't involve wading through 15 links to find, is insufficient. --B (talk) 13:49, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
