The article 8notes has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 21:19, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Detonator_pic.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Detonator_pic.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

User talk:Nuclear froggy edit

Hi - you replaced the content in User talk:Nuclear froggy with a blank page. Unfortunately, your efforts could be construed as vandalism, rather than practising the art of editing. Your recent efforts have therefore been reverted. Thanks. Refsworldlee(chew-fat)(eds) 00:23, 12 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE: F1 Schools edit

Nice job with the references. You can remove the tag. Be BOLD. I guess for some reason I was worried about notability, but it is now clearly apparent the subject is quite notable. Danski14(talk) 18:43, 29 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE: Vandalism edit

Hey, thanks for pointing out the vandalism. Next time, feel free to revert the vandalism yourself, all you have to do is remove it manually or go to the page history and restore a previous version. You can read more about cleaning up vandalism here. You can get special tools called scripts which make it a lot easier, like TWINKLE, which is my favorite. Anyways, you are right that it might be a good idea to semi-protect Smelly. However, vandalism rate not very high, so I doubt admins would protect it. You can recommend a page for vandalism at Requests for Page Protection if you want. Have fun... Danski14(talk) 21:12, 27 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Assess request edit

Well done. I've removed the cleanup tag. Be Bold. You have cleaned it up. Its missing "cat" tags. Look at the bottom of say "Derby School" or even better a nearby school to see what you need to add. I may help Victuallers 16:58, 28 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:F1inSchoolsscreen.png edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:F1inSchoolsscreen.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Image copyright problem with Image:F1inschoolsrender.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:F1inschoolsrender.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 08:31, 13 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Erode.JPG) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Erode.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 13:30, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notification of automated file description generation edit

Your upload of File:Condor GrandCanyon.JPG or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of F1 in Schools edit

The article F1 in Schools has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable competition, fails WP:GNG and WP:NEVENT- notability isn't inherited from its association with Formula One.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
