The article 8notes has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. RE: Vandalism

Hey, thanks for pointing out the vandalism. Next time, feel free to revert the vandalism yourself, all you have to do is remove it manually or go to the page history and restore a previous version. You can read more about cleaning up vandalism here. You can get special tools called scripts which make it a lot easier, like TWINKLE, which is my favorite. Anyways, you are right that it might be a good idea to semi-protect Smelly. However, vandalism rate not very high, so I doubt admins would protect it. The article F1 in Schools has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable competition, fails WP:GNG and WP:NEVENT- notability isn't inherited from its association with Formula One.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
