Welcome!

Hello, Nsalmon, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  -- Longhair 02:12, 1 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Simone Salmon may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. -- Longhair 03:06, 1 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your VandalProof Application edit

Dear Nsalmon,

Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that at this time you do not meet the minimum requirement of 250 edits to mainspace articles (see under main here). Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. Daniel 11:10, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notable Wikipedians edit

For the same reason just mentioned under the Anti-Vandalism policy, you are not eligible to be a notable Wikipedian. A notable Wikipedian must be a Wikipedian first - must have produced 250 or more significant edits to articles of main importance. I invite you to visit the village pump or the community portal to learn more about this.Levalley (talk) 22:55, 28 March 2009 (UTC)--LeValleyReply

He is notable, he is a Wikipedian, therefore he is a notable Wikipedian. Peter Damian (talk) 10:24, 30 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Nsalmon! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 938 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Edwin Seroussi - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:13, 18 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
