The group originates from Zimbabwe in the Rural Areas of Tsholotsho. The band was inspired by the likes of Ndolwane Supers Sounds, Tukuye Super Sounds, Ndux Malax, Solomon Skuza in which these were superstars in the Matebeleland Area in Zimbabwe and Neighbouring Countries like South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia and Malawi. The group is led by the second old Brother Prefect "Tsheba) Mvundla Jiyane and being supported by the brothers and other band members. Tsheba Boys composes Music inspired by true events in life. The Group was formed by Four Brothers (Khitsha Mvundla Jiyane(Late); Prefect Mvundla Jiyane; Welcome Mvundla Jiyane and Duncen Mvundla Jiyane)and they started recording professional in 2007 with their first six track Debut Album (LoMhlaba)meaning this world.
Tsheba Boys has soon gained popularity amongst Zimbabweans in which they touch lives of the Youth, Middle Class and Elderly by its tune and lyrics. Tsheba Boys was the only first Zimbabwean Band that its song was played on Soweto TV in South Africa and left a mark to its followers and supporters. Tsheba Boys is based in South Africa and records its songs in South Africa and have performed many shows around South Africa and Zimbabwe and other Southern African Countries respectively. The band signature has come from best tunes, lyrics and best directed videos. Tsheba Boys is the only Zimbabwean band that started selling apparel to its supporters and followers. The apparel gear consists of Golf T-Shirts, Round Neck T-Shirts, Caps and Sun Hats. Whenever the band has a Show, all supporters and followers come in their gear to cheer their moments up and in history they have filled up all show venues.
On 10 May 2019, Tsheba Boys won an Award of the Best Video of the year from the Album Salani Lilandela (you will follow me) which was released in 2018. The Band Tsheba Boys (Abafana baka Jiyane) has soon not looked back. They have been releasing Albums every year for the supporters and followers. Tsheba Boys has soon featured a number of well known and less unkown artist on their yearly albums. The Band has soon featured Big Names like Allen Ndoda, Tjabuta, Ndux Junior, Duncan Marabha, Nlondo Shinning Stars, Abigail, Fortue Dawu just to mention a few. Prefect Tsheba Vundla has soon assisted and produced a number of young talent that has talent in the music industry. The popularity of Tsheba Boys has gone from every car of the Transport business called Omalayitsha who ferry goods and passengers between South Africa and Zimbabwe to Zimbabwe National Radio Stations that has seen his songs leading chats on Zimbabwe Radio based in Harare and Sky FM that is based in Bulawayo and also Nehanda Radio. Tsheba Boys plays most of their live shows at Hillbrow Thearte, Johannesburg. It has become a home ground for all Zimbabwean Artists.
