Speedy deletion of R. E. B. Makinson

A tag has been placed on R. E. B. Makinson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Dye laser applications

Hi Northryde!

I see that you have made some excellent additions to the Dye laser article, particularly regarding applications. I think this article could use an application section. I know that applications for these lasers are broad. I believe they've been used for laser moon ranging and spectroscopy, and probably much more. My sources here don't list much about applications, and my best source has not been returned to the library, so I was wondering if your sources might provide such a list?
