Re: "be bold" editing

edit

Thanks for your response about my article on jockey deaths. I don't know what you mean by this. I might just be ignorant of editing standards. Can you explain? By the way, I'm a musician also with interest in thoery. Nooch-nombe 20:42, 17 May 2007 (UTC)03:46, 31 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Check out this link: Wikipedia:Be bold in editing pages. Basically, I'm suggesting that you should go ahead and do what you feel will better the encyclopedia - other editors should recognise that your edit is in good faith and they will appreciate your help. Anyway, though, it's really awesome to meet other musicians...I'll save the chatting sorts of things for another day, but I'd love to talk more about theory, since I'm mostly self-taught... A tag has been placed on Michael Tornambe, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. American Patriot 1776 20:37, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

First of all, welcome to Wikipedia. Second of all, please do not remove deletion tags from articles. Follow the tag's instructions. The article has no sources and the subject of the article appears in no Google searches. If you have any evidence to the contrary, please bring it up at the article's deletion discussion. Thank you. Please add your information/source at the article's debate for deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Tornambe. American Patriot 1776 22:14, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: Username change

edit

Hey, there. :) Sorry I haven't responded, sooner. If you're still about, I'd be happy to help you. Depending on which is easier for you, you can copy-paste this to the bottom of Wikipedia:Changing username (edit link):

Or, if it's easier for you, I can take care of that, and then you'd only have to make a quick edit confirming you'd like the name changed. Let me know which you'd prefer, or if you need any help. – Luna Santin (talk) 21:55, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Wildflower Band

edit

Hello Nooch-nombe,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Wildflower Band for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
