The V Word

edit

Hi, welcome to Wikipedia, and good job on those reverts! Just a hint, that edit on Sodom and Gomorrah shouldn't be called vandalism, as it isn't necessarily intentionally working against Wikipedia. Wikipedia:On assuming good faith is a good essay explaining this. Thank you again and keep up the good work! ;; Maddy ♥︎(they/she)♥︎ :: talk  20:13, 23 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

User warning templates

edit

Hello. I thank you for your recent revert to Jean Harlow: you may or may not already be aware of this, but Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace is useful after reverting edits you deem inappropriate, particularly vandalism. After reverting, you can post these on the user's talk page to inform them that you did not believe the edit to be constructive. They can also be used to give blunt warnings to someone who has been previously warned, though I will note that, barring egregious circumstances, it is best to start small with these notices and escalate them if the user does not stop their inappropriate conduct. Thank you. JeffSpaceman (talk) 20:07, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
