Moving sandbox to article space edit

If you send me a link to their sandbox I'd be happy to move it to the article space. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:15, 12 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

The Oretha Castle Haley has been published to the article space. The only problem was that the sandbox template wasn't removed. I removed the template. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:33, 13 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Response edit

Hi! I saw your post on my talk page, where Marchjuly also responded. What happened here is essentially this: Rather than merge their work into the existing article, the students created a duplicate article, which was quickly detected and removed.

The draft does have some issues. It has some grammatical errors and parts of it are written rather reflectively and casually, with passages such as "This person contributed to the civil rights movement in the following ways" and "Jones did more than set an example for what African American women could do". Marchjuly left some more notes on my talk page as well. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:15, 11 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • I'll try to see what can be merged and then suggest this to the students. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:31, 11 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Shalor (Wiki Ed), Marchjuly Thanks very much for your help and consideration. I really appreciate it, and moreover, the students have learned a valuable lesson all around about anxiety, waiting till the last minute, writing, and seeking help.
