Speedy deletion of Heathley Park

A tag has been placed on Heathley Park requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 17:26, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi, the recent edit you made to Dane Hills has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks.   Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 17:44, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Template:Areas of Leicester. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Two One Six Five Five τ ʃ 17:45, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Honey, I've just re-vandalised it.

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Template:Areas of Leicester, you will be blocked from editing. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 00:05, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Now then...user 21655 objected to the deletion of Heathley Park from the Template: Areas of Leicester (didn't actually link to an article), and defined this as vandalism. 21655 then reverts the template to a previous state, removing a further edit which linked to Newfoundpool, User Realkyhick then defined this addition of a link to a then-existing article as a "last warning" case of vandalism. The article was deleted, but has now been re-created. Ning-ning requests that someone disruptively edit the Leicester Areas template to restore a link to Newfoundpool, and then self-admonish themselves.

My bad. I mis-read the history "diff" page. Of course, saying you "just re-valdalised it" is kind of a tip-off, so you might want to avoid that from now on. It might give someone the wrong impression. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 17:14, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading Image:Salcombe church.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Clayworth

A tag has been placed on Clayworth, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. I have declined the speedy - the page is fine. TerriersFan (talk) 16:58, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

info box

Hi, good to see you adding info boxes to villages/towns, you are putting postcode_district = DN22 8DF but it should not include the inward part of the postcode only the outward ie DN22 or it will not show. Also I see you are not putting the post town, dialling code or District these are easy to find on the web, the post town should in in the standard format as Template:Infobox UK place ie DONCASTER regards Palmiped (talk) 17:27, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

  • I have been deleting the coor title tag as the infobox appears to overwrite this and produce a double image- I presume this is correct? Yes I have had to do same. If you are looking for village/town images to put in the infobox I have used this site Geograph British Isles as the images are Creative Commons licence so can be uploaded Palmiped (talk) 23:45, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
    • Hi again for postcode district to show in info box you also need to have the postcode_area= ie NG. regards Palmiped (talk) 12:32, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Hi,You have put wrong info in infobox for Widmerpool it shows Newark & Sherwood when it should be Rushcliffe, also you have wiki linked St Halena in West Leake without checking where link linked to in this case an island in the South Atlantic, please be more careful Palmiped (talk) 23:46, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi Ning-ning, my only real interest in Vulcans was the crash at RAF Syerston in 1958 as I witnessed the crash. cheers Palmiped (talk) 11:59, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

This is for you Ning-ning. For all your hard work on infoboxes! I think you have done > 100 and nearly every decent place in Derbyshire has an article that is info boxed and so is at least geotagged. (If you have any problems with the RSI then please feel free to contact Jimbo Wales' lawyer.. Victuallers (talk) 14:39, 21 April 2008 (UTC) )

Derbyshire infoboxes

Look great! Well done and so fast? Can you do a 100? :-) Victuallers (talk) 08:46, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Wow ... you may get RSI! Is it possible that you could add the two lines to support a top picture in an infobox .... called "static image". (See Elvaston). Don't worry if its tricky. I am getting tempted to add pics to complement your work. Hope you are not offended. These articles look much better with infoboxes. Cheers Victuallers (talk) 09:44, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Hey I wasnt suggesting retracing your steps (although you obviously can if you wish) you are doing a great job. I thought that if you had a standard bit to cut and paste then you may as well include the static image bit in any further infoboxes you do. Anyway .... activity is up on the derbyshire villages by others I notice .... I think your additions are getting others interested in improving too. So excellent contributions. Victuallers (talk) 19:11, 17 April 2008 (UTC) Oh which is the ugliest village? Victuallers (talk) 19:12, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
