Creating WP:DAB pages

Please read MOS:DAB before creating disambiguation pages such as LcscH. Specifically MOS:DABACRO and WP:DABABBREV: "Do not add articles to abbreviation or acronym disambiguation pages unless the target article includes the acronym or abbreviation". Currently, none of the linked articles mention this "LcscH" abbreviation at all. Also, see MOS:DABENTRY for how the entries should be listed (one blue link per entry). Hey, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I've moved the page LcscH to the draft space where it may be reviewed by experienced reviewers. I don't think a disambiguation is appropriate to connect the three related articles but it may be better to have its own article if it is notable enough. In the draft space, you or any other interested editors can work on it without the risk of deletion. When you think the article is ready to be published, submit it for review. Connecting three related articles that have no similarity in the title is not how disambiguation works. Regards.

Setting context at the outset

You started an article with this:

A measurable acting group is a special group that acts on some space in a way that is compatible with structures of measure theory.

When the lay reader sees something about a "special group that acts", (s)he's probably thinking about performers who work in a theater, and then "on some space" could refer to the stage on which these performers appear before an audience. I changed it to this:

In mathematics, a measurable acting group is a special group that acts on some space in a way that is compatible with structures of measure theory.

Hello Michael Hardy (talk · contribs). I generally agree with your position to write good and approachable introductions. However in this particular case i do disagree with your position, since both relevant sub-disciplines of math and the main article for math can be found before the end of the second sentence and your example appears not plausible to me. A Wikipedia page titled Schismatic temperament is about musical scales, but I reached the second sentence before I found out it's not about a psychiatric condition. (It's been edited since then). I'd rather know at the beginning. Michael Hardy (talk) 20:04, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

I wonder what you mean by "both of the relevant subdisciplines" and by saying they're found before the end of the second sentence.
