Quotes
editThank you. Admittedly one of my shortcomings is complex math, so while you lost me in the math, I do understand replace {{#expr:({{CURRENTMINUTE}}*3)/20 round 0}} with {{#expr:({{CURRENTMINUTE}}-1.5)/3 round 0}} lol So, currently there's 45 quotes in the pool it pulls from. So what is the code to make it pull from 60 quotes? That way as we add to it, it won't be a problem up to 60. Thanks for your help. -- ALLSTAR ECHO 22:41, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- Replied on user talk where I initially posted. Nihiltres(t.l) 23:09, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

A salt
editJust so you know, I fixed this salt of yours. Somehow, there was a very tiny error on the protected titles list that made the wrong page be protected. It was re-requested at RFPP for it to be salted. Acalamari 01:51, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks. I was afraid something like that might happen in a wierd, long title. Nihiltres(t.l) 02:19, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- You're welcome. :) Acalamari 02:49, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Regarding 69.132.18.154 spamming
editHi, I am at 3RR and I was not aware that I had to post warnings on spammer's page with each revert. I did warn him in an edit summary of each revert though as can be seen here. He _is_ engaged in a blatant external link spamming. What's the best course of action given the circuimstances ? Thanks, Alex Pankratov 04:39, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- It's good form to warn with each revert. I removed the AIV report on the basis that a block seems unnecessary at this point, since the user appeared to have stopped. As I was writing this, however, I checked again and they're continuing, so I'll give a more serious warning and then block if necessary. Nihiltres(t.l) 04:48, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
My recent RfA
editThank you for supporting my RfA, which unfortunately didn't succeed. The majority of the opposes stated that I needed more experience in the main namespace and Wikipedia namespace, so that is what I will do. I will go for another RfA in two month's time and I hope you will be able to support me then as well. If you have any other comments for me or wish to be notified when I go for another RfA, please leave them on my talk page. If you wish to nominate me for my next RfA, please wait until it has been two months. Thanks again for participating in my RfA! -- Cobi(t|c|b|cn) 01:47, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- It should succeed next time. Good luck, :) Nihiltres(t.l) 01:57, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
deletion of Emtek page
editNihiltres, I have just become aware that the page, Emtek, that I posted has been deleted for lack of notability. I have read the guidelines and i would like to try rewriting the page. Would you be so kind as to send me the deleted text. Thanks Oct. 11, 2007 TomMillar 1 01:52, 12 October 2007 (UTC)TomMillar 1
- Certainly, I'll move it to your (currently nonexistent) userpage if it isn't otherwise a problem. Nihiltres(t.l) 01:57, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Ah.. stupid
editThat skipped my mind, in fact I think I supported that bot. Yes, that would save both taggers and admins a lot of work. Thanks again! Phgao 15:31, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
This user is a sockpuppet of Creepy Crawler (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) based on its contributions (another sock, UniversalHero (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), made the exact same edits last night) and behavior (undoing edits and marking them as minor). Shouldn't this be an indef rather than a 24-hour block? -Jéské(v^_^v) 03:43, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't recognize the sock, so I made a general block. I'll change the block to indef now that I know for sure it's a sock. Thanks! Nihiltres(t.l) 03:54, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- Null perspiration. I've requested a semi-prot on the articles hit so far tonight and last night; I only got involved when I noticed UniversalHero on the new users list starting to systematically undo User:FisherQueen's edits. -Jéské(v^_^v) 04:07, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
