Marcome

edit

I have reviewed the deleted page User:Marcome; it was just an invitation to visit the Marcome website. From what I have gathered, Marcomé is a musician, and I doubt she meets the Wikipedia inclusion (notability) guidelines. If you are the same person as User:Marcome, then creation of an article about the musician might be even more problematic; the guidelines on conflict on interest strongly recommend users not to create articles about themselves or other closely related topics, because they may find it difficult to write about them objectively, or judge whether or not an article about the topic should exist.

The article Marcome had existed, but was deleted for not meeting the notability guidelines. (She has made a couple of albums, but they were apparently self-released.) [As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia should be a compendium of existing knowledge, and not a means of making something known.] That said, if you want to create an article about Marcomé, and believe that she meets the guidelines now, you can go ahead; but don't be surprised if the article is nominated for deletion again. (For the record, the "bot" mentioned on Marcome's talk page was an automated user account which notified the user that the page User:Marcome had been nominated for deletion.)
