Feedback on your article

edit

@Nickyeah: I've looked at the changes you've made and I think it constitutes progress. I had a few pieces of feedback:

  • The English in the article is pretty rough. Try to copyedit it carefully. This is actually true not only (or even mostly!) of the text you've added but the text in the original article!
  • Watch out for and remove text that seems like advertising which is banned by Wikipedia's WP:ADVERT policy. Phrases like "that means best ingredients and best broth" should probably go. In general, make sure that you have an encyclopedic tone and avoid persuasive writing.

The text of the original article was pretty rough so I think what you've added is probably about the same quality. If you could improve it, that would be best but I think if you clean things up a bit, you'll be ready to move it over.

You should take a look at this list of suggestions for polishing your article which is a helpful set of ideas from altsalt. Many won't apply but some might. I've gone through and made a few edits to your articles to clean things up—mostly small stylistic things but there are definitely more. Look at the history to see what I've done before so you get a sense.

In any case, do a pass or two to address things I've mentioned and any of the things on the list on our website that apply and that you think will be helpful and/or improve the article. Then go ahead and make it live. —mako 05:28, 14 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
