Stripped legend template

Back in February you inquired about a striped legend template as an alternative to Template:Legend using CSS3. I made a template that I don't think relies on any CSS3, and wondered if you had any comments on it. Its on my Sandbox here: User:Patrickneil/Striped legend. I'm not sure what standard of "statistical tie" you are using, but it would be helpful to clarify that in the article. And perhaps explain it more clearly, because I still do not understand. For example, South Carolina only has a single poll out, with Mitt Romney leading by 6 points and a margin of error of 3%. That would seem like a clear lead for Romney, but you insist on striping the state? --haha169 (talk) 05:25, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
