Overlander train stops edit

I am not happy about this template going on various New Zealand city articles. It adds little utility to each article. I have no objection to it going onto appropriate railway station articles. You might like to comment at Talk:Auckland.

Incidentally, letting your user talk page be redirected to an article is rather confusing.-gadfium 08:19, 29 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I reverted the Auckland The Overlander train stop, but left it on the Britomart Transport Centre. In the case of cities, a transportation sub page may actually be a page in its own right.
  • The redirect wasn't my idea me, some vandal. I couldn't figure out why.

Thanks for the quick response. Do we have articles for all major railway stations in New Zealand? Looking at Category:Rail_transport_in_New_Zealand, it seems only the main ones. I suggest you move the template to station articles where they exist.-gadfium 08:37, 29 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

R%e Wanganui all blacks edit

Neville, I replied to your query on my talk page. You cannot create an article which contains only a link to external information. That's why I reverted. Moriori 22:30, 10 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Restored comment edit

Neville, no matter how much you disagree with it, you cannot remove a comment left on your talk page, so I have restored it. (Your user page is different - you decide the content there). It is not ideal for me to be talking on my talk page about your edits, so I am concentrating here on your talk page. You say you "linked each player to their own unique entry at the www.RugbyMuseum.co.nz. When one clicks on a player one will get their background. Much better then leaving a red-link." No. You cannot wikilink people to an outside source as you have. Mona Thomson must link to a Wiki article entitled Mona Thomson, and if there isn't one the link shows red until a Wiki article is created. This is wiki policy. There is nothing confusing about this. It would be disruptive for you to continue doing this, so please don't. Cheers. Moriori 08:12, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I forgot to mention too that you linked John Blair to an American politician, and John Hogan to a disamb page. I've fixed them.Moriori 08:23, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

ThanX for your help.

RE: George Edward Grey Māori vs "Maori" (book extract/quotations) edit

No problem. I haven't done these for a while actually, but I was trying to keep them in mind when I was doing them, apparently made a couple of mistakes.--Konstable 04:57, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
