Speedy deletion of Arjuna Ardagh edit

A tag has been placed on Arjuna Ardagh, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

blatant advertising. One of the main contributors is named after the church concerned, and this article frequently mentions this bloke's new book

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Sticky Parkin 00:30, 16 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

November 2015 edit

Hello, I'm Viriditas. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Abby Martin without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Viriditas (talk) 02:43, 10 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Just to clarify, you removed the official website link to Abby Martin. You said in your edit summary that it wasn't hers, but you are mistaken. Abby Martin is a psychedelic artist from the Bay Area. Viriditas (talk) 02:46, 10 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open! edit

Hello, Nemodomi. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
