GABRIEL TAAPOPI SECONDARY SCHOOL CHOIR

Gabriel Taapopi Secondary School is a school in the Oshana Region, northern Namibia. The school is known for its excellence in academics mostly. However the school is also greatly respected for its excellence in extra-mural activities such as sports, debating and the choir. This school has produced prestigious people in the Namibian society. Most of its learners make it to tertiary institutions where they continue to excel in academics, sports and debating.

Gabriel Taapopi school Choir was formed in 2008 by a teacher at the school. The choir is very prestigious and has won numerous awards on regional and national level. The choir also has a very good relationship with the UNAM choir. The two choirs has collaborated on various songs and performed at concerts together. The Gabriel Taapopi Choir also performs at UNAM graduations because of the good relationship they have. Many learners from Gabriel Taapopi Choir also make it in the UNAM choir.
