Proposed deletion of Santa Barbara Graduate Institute

edit

The article Santa Barbara Graduate Institute has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I searched for references and failed to find significant coverage in independent, reliable sources to confirm that SGBI actually existed as an institution of higher learning. This included web searches for news coverage, books, and journals. The guidestar.org profile for an organization with the same name and founder describes a research institute, but does not mention academic programs. There are no reliable news sources discussing SGBI in any form. All other mentions I've seen so far are from individuals who say they used to work there, no former students, and zero independent sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
