Tsumeb is the town found in Oshikoto region in the Northern Namibia close to Etosha National Park. The name Tsumeb originally comes from the jioning of [[San] words Tsoumsoub(to dig in loose ground ) and Herero words Otjisume (place of frogs).Tsumeb population is approximaterly about 44.113,there is 4 secondary school, 2 primary schools and training facilities such as adult ducational centre.[1]

Tsumeb was detected an important Copper mining and the operational center of the Ongopolo mining and processing about 100 years ago.The town is also popular to tourists travelling on to the Etosha game park. Tsumeb climate is sub-tropical with a maximum temperature of 29.7 degree celcius, minimum temperature of 14.4 degree celcius and rainfall is 555mm per annum. [2]
