Speedy deletion of National Council on Crime and Delinquency edit

A tag has been placed on National Council on Crime and Delinquency, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g12.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Spryde 17:13, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your article was basically a copy of this web site. Before you begin to recreate the article, please read WP:1ST, WP:N, WP:COI, and WP:NPOV, to make sure that what you propose meets the criteria for having a Wikipedia article. Carlossuarez46 (talk) 22:58, 29 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you are affiliated with nccd, then have the organization agree to provide the content of its website under the GFDL license or into the public domain. This is easiest done by adding such as a tagline on the actual webpages of the organization. That will avoid the copyright problem. If this cannot be done, you must start from scratch. Please note: even after the copyright problem is solved, the organization needs to establish notability (see WP:ORG) through 3rd-party sources (see WP:RS). Good luck.
